Demi Lovato hopes Barack Obama can change the United States. Dem dished on a Friday interview [Via Miami Herald]: 'Well, our economic system is in a crisis right now. I definitely hope that will change. I hope the war resolves. Whether we win or lose or whatever, it doesn't matter. I hope that it just ends. So you know, I think that Barack Obama will be able to help us.'
On the Inaugural concert: 'That will be the coolest thing, if Obama was watching. I think his family will be there. It would be even cooler if they were all there. But definitely, it's an honor that they even know who I am. It's awesome.'
On giving Sasha and Malia advice: 'I would give them definitely the advice to always know that your family is there for you. You can go to your family with anything. And also, don't forget who you are.
I think that's a mistake that a lot of people make. And it's something that my family keeps me from making. Just don't stop going places just because people might see you. And don't stop having sleepovers with your friends, and don't stop trick-or-treating.'
